BRIEF Create a campaign to position Kreatta among current and potencial clients as the best experience design team they can approach; having the experience and knowledge to solve major logistic challenges, Kreatta has the capacity to take onto big happenings with the lowest rates of risk and waiting queue.
Such project included the redesign of visual identity, with the objective to communicate the growth and maturity the company has reached.
RATIONALE The former logo had a kind of warm approach with a few elements that made it look old; the client expressed their preference to keep it with urban imagery, so a nocturnal city silhouette took the course of action. Only this time the logo communicates a rather imponent and hard rock built structure; straight lines were used with a two point perspective, making it pyramidal and sharp, this way positioning the viewer on ground level to give the feeling of Kreatta being an assertive team with the head held high.
Regarding color, I was looking for a color scheme that could work for both black and white backgrounds. Orange is the main color of the brand, to enhance it, I picked complementary blue grays, this way orange can play the creative playful role over passive colors and a very squared shape.
Finally, typography needed to represent the new fresh face of the brand, so the right choise was a sans-serif, tall to look modern and bold to look strong, although a wide tracking was left to let characters breath, leaving space to receive great ideas and make them happen!
As a production house, Kreatta also takes part on filmmaking, the words «FILMS» and «PRODUCTIONS» remain secondary to the logo design, hence the lightness of the font, and either one can be placed along it or not at all.

BRIEF Create a regionalized logo based on Ruby on Rails’.
RATIONALE This was one of the very first logos I ever designed, the elements used to make it were taken from the Aztec Calendar, an obvious yet accurate solution. The original logo by Ruby on Rails, certainly consists of the rails on this curve with a weird feeling of perspective, all I did was «translate» it from sharp lines to the organic forms of Aztec art.
